How To Disable or Turn Off RSS Feed In Blogger

It might sounds strange in turning off your RSS feeds because you are only reducing your traffic in this way. But, in some cases it is required for the bloggers to disable their RSS feeds. There may be any reason behind this like their content is not relevant for Feeds or they want to protect their content from auto-blogs.

In this post, I will show you a very easy way to disable or turn off your RSS feeds so that your content is no longer be sent to your subscribers via email. Follow this simple guide below.

Disable or Turn Off RSS Feed In Your Blog

Step 1 : Open your blogger dashboard. Go to Settings >> Other.

Step 2 : In Site Feed section, you will find 'Allow Blog Feed' option which is by default selected at 'Until Jump Break'.

When you click it, you will find certain options. These options with their results are explained below.

Full - This options displays full post in the Feeds. Users don't have to visit your blog to read the full content.
Until Jump Break - This is the default option which displays your content until the first break comes. You have option to decide where you want that break to appear. In this case, visitors have to visit your blog to read the full content.
Short - This is similar to previous one, but here the content to be displayed is decided automatically rather than any break in the content.
None - This option completely disables the RSS feeds on your blog. User will no longer receive yor blogs updates.
Custom - This option provides you again with above 4 option with little more options about your feed.

Step 3 : Now change it 'None'.
