Note : It is very important to keep checking your domain's expiry date and renew it on time. Most of the registrar have auto renew option. If you failed to renew your domain then you will be given a 30 days grace period to renew your domain.
If payment is not made within 30 days then your domain name will be cancelled and it will enter a redemption period of 30 days. The redemption period is designed to give the owner a last chance to retain their domain name. However, the price now will be around 250$. After this period your domain name will become publicly available.
